Gut Healthy Stewed Baked Apples
Ingredients
Apples (whole)
Butter, a small knob per apple
Jam of choice (blueberry works great)
Yogurt, to serve
Granola, to serve
Cinnamon, to serve
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F.
Core each apple, removing the middle pit and seeds but keeping the base intact.
Place the apples in a baking dish.
Fill each cavity with a small knob of butter and a spoonful of jam.
Bake for 30–40 minutes until completely tender , a knife should slide through very easily.
Serve warm in a bowl topped with yogurt, granola, and a dusting of cinnamon.
